Information for participating teams

Information on this page will be progressively updated in the lead up to the event.

General information:

For teams to complete before arrival:

Robot delivery and drop off:

  • If you are delivering your own robot:
    • Please note we do not have a forklift on-site
    • For robot load in, teams will be required to bring their robot down the 'Entry Route' path shown here
    • Please note that large portions of this path ARE NOT under cover. 
    • Please consider bringing a tarp or other cover to protect your robot in case of rain.  

  • If you plan for your robot to be delivered by a third party / couriered to the MRT: 
    • Please fill out the Robot Delivery Form (available June 2024)
      • Teams are responsible for all aspects of their robot transport to and from the event
      • A tailgate lift is required - as there is no loading dock or forklift on site, please ensure this is communicated to your freight provider
      • Event staff will be able to move your crate to/from delivery trucks on arrival, however this is the full exent of their invovlement
      • Event staff are not expected to liase directly with your freight company - your team will need to communicate with your freight company, and notify our staff of the expected delivery / pickup times
      • Teams need to make sure all of the required paperwork is on their crate/container before they leave on the Sunday afternoon
